Hi, I’m Ethan — a cloud and data science enthusiast passionate about building tools that help others.

I recently finished my Master’s in Data Science, and before that, I earned my Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems. Along the way, I also picked up my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and I’m planning to keep going with more AWS certifications to sharpen my skills and open more doors in the cloud space.

This site, Cloud & Query, is where I share what I’m learning, building, and thinking about — from projects that blend data with cloud tech to personal experiments that I just find fun or meaningful. It’s part portfolio, part lab notebook, and part creative outlet.

When I’m not working on something technical, I’m usually spending time with my wife and daughter, brainstorming a new idea, or diving into something hands-on — whether it’s creating a children’s book, experimenting with a new hot sauce recipe, or building a faith-based app to make Bible study more interactive.
